FV Gallery Contemporary Art is a gallery that specializes in young modern artists. The gallery recognized the talent among young and experimented artists, especially from Oaxaca. This State is one of the richest in cultural tradition and heritage in Mexico. During the XIXth century, two of the most important presidents of the country where born in Oaxaca (Benito Juarez and Porfirio Diaz), both made a special effort to promote their cultural heritage. In the XXth century the Mixtec and Zapotec culture were considered as one of the richest subjects of work for the artist , in fact Rufino Tamayo, one of the consecrated artists of the Mexican Modern Art, was the first to inspired his work in the artistic ancient tradition, after Maestro Tamayo, many more had risen and forged a big place in Worldwide Art, such as Sergio Hernández, Maximino Javier and Francisco Toledo, their influence has given name to the so called “School of Oaxaca”. Recently, Maestro Francisco Toledo founded the IAGO (Instituto de Artes Graficas de Oaxaca), where Sabino Guisu attended as a student. Actually Oaxaca it’s being recognized as one of the most important Cultural entities of the country. Though the Gallery has been operating in private, is now getting public in the U.S., in which we are expecting great success and recognition in the debut of it’s own personal and most promising artists Sabino Guisu at the OAXACA ART MIAMI EXHIBITION.
